AGP News: Project updates

AGP Phase 2 project (2007-)

  • December 2009: Progress update:
    • Stage 1 GWAS and CNV analyses: completed for a first sample of >1500 Stage 1 trios; paper submitted for publication.
    • Stage 1 genotyping (1M Illumina): completed for all Stage 1 samples (1,881 complete trios); all data released to AGP sites.
    • Stage 2 genotyping (1M Illumina): genotyping completed for ~900 trios; remainder to be finalised by January 2009; data for 202 Stage 2 trios released to AGP sites; data for a further 333 Stage 2 trios to be released soon..
    • Stage 1 GWAS and CNV analyses: due to start in early 2010 (once all Stage 2 genotype data received).
    • Phenotypic data analyses: a number of different studies ongoing by collaborations of AGP sites.

  • 16-17 November 2009. Meetings of the AGP Committee of Senior Investigators (CSI) and the Phenotype and Analysis (PAC) Committee, Glen Cove, Long Island (NY).

  • June 2009. Progress update:
    • Stage 1 genotyping (1M Illumina) completed and analysis nearing finalisation. Results to be published late 2009.
    • Stage 2 genotyping (1M Illumina) more than half completed.
    • AGP presents proposal for a third AGP project (Phase 3), to start in 2010.

  • 23 April 2009. Meeting of the AGP Steering Committee, London.

  • 6 April 2009. Meeting of the AGP Committee of Senior Investigators (CSI), Chicago.

  • 11 November 2008. Meeting of the AGP Committee of Senior Investigators (CSI), Philadelphia.

  • 16 April 2008. Meeting of the AGP Steering Committee, Dublin.

  • 1 April 2008. Meeting of the AGP Committee of Senior Investigators (CSI), New York.

  • 23 September 2007. Meeting of the AGP Committee of Senior Investigators (CSI), San Diego.

  • April 2007: Launch of AGP Phase 2 project.
